1. WEEK 32 Tuesday, April 25th 2023 Unit 12: At the lake Lesson 2 A. Objective: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: 1. Knowledge: - Say the letter L/l and the words Lucy, lake, leaf, lemons and the phrases/sentences containing /l/ and Lucy, lake, leaf, lemons in a chant - Use Look at the lemons. Look at the lake to identify someone or something - Trace the letter L/l. 2. Skills. - Listening, reading and speaking. 3. Attitude/ Quality: - Have concentration, listen carefully, express idea during lesson - To help Ss loving animals. C. Teaching aids: CD, Phonics cards D. Procedure: I. Warm-up: - Greeting. - Invite a few pupils to point to the picture and pronounce the sound of the letter L/l and say the words Lucy, lake, leaf, lemons . - Get pupils to play Slap a board, using the pictures and flashcards to play. - Lead in new lesson. II. Procedure: 1. Listen and chant: - Have pupils look at the chant. Ask them to pay attention to the letter L/l and the words lake, leaf. - Play the recording of the first line for pupils to listen and to get familiarized with the rhythm. - Follow the same procedure with the second verse. - Play the recording again, ask pupils to listen and repeat the first line. - Follow the same procedure with the other lines in the chant. Show pupils how to chant and clap their hands along. - Call ss to chant in front of the class. - Give feedback. - With better classes, help pupils change some lines of the chant and sing it in front of the class. E.g. L, l, Lucy. Look at Lucy. L, l, lake. Look at the lake. L, l, leaf. Look at the leaf. L, l, lemons. Look at the lemons.
2. L, l, locks. Look at the locks. 2. Listen and tick : - Have pupils look at the pictures of Question 1 and say what they can see. - Invite some pupils to point to the pictures and say the words the words four clocks aloud in front of the class. - Encourage some pupils to point to the pictures in Question 1 and say the words in front of the class. Say Point to the pictures and say the words, please! - Play the recording twice or more if needed, ask pupils to listen and tick the correct boxes. - Set a time limit for pupils to swap and check the answers. Correct the answers, if necessary. Follow the same procedure with the pictures in Question 2. - Call a few pupils to the front of the class to point to the pictures and say what they have heard. If they said correct words, praise them Answers: 1. b 2. a. 3. Listen and repeat: - Open books or access sachmem. Have pupils look at the picture, saying Look at the picture,please! What can you see? Explain the meaning of the question and the answer and how they are. - Get pupils to point to the first bubble, listen to the questions and repeat, saying Listen and repeat, please! Look at the lemons, 1b: Look at the apples.Then have them point to the second bubble and repeat the answer. - Play the recording several times for pupils to listen and repeat the exchange. - Invite a few pairs to act out the exchange in front of the class. 4. Let’s talk: - Have pupils look at the bubbles to understand how the structure is used (Explain the meaning of the question and the answer. - Have pupils point to Picture a. Say Look at Picture a, please! - Ask pupils to use the structure Look at the apples in the bubble and Picture to identify something. Get them to repeat the sentence several times individually and in chorus. Check comprehension - Invite some pairs to point to the pictures and act out the exchanges in front of the class. III. Có ý thức bảo vệ được cơ thể khi đi ngoài trời nắng và chia sẻ với mọi người xung quanh cùng thực hiện. -Hiểu được vì sao bầu trời ban ngày sáng còn ban đêm lại tối. - Tìm hiểu môi trường tự nhiên xã hội xung quanh:Nhận ra được lợi ích và các tác hại của ánh sáng mặt trời, vai trò chiếu sáng và sưởi ấm của mặt trời. - Vận dụng kiến thức và kĩ năng đã học:Biết cách bảo vệ cơ thể dưới trời nắng. * Năng lực chung: - Tự chủ và tự học: Thể hiện qua việc thực hiện các hoạt động ngoài trời. - Giao tiếp và hợp tác: Chia sẻ cùng bạn những điều đã biết ánh sáng mặt trời, chia sẻ với mọi người xung quanh cùng thực hiện. - Giải quyết các vấn đề sáng tạo: Thể hiện được cách ứng xử phù hợp với các tình huống xảy ra trong trường lớp. * Phẩm chất - Nhân ái: yêu thiên nhiên, môi trường tự nhiên. - Chăm chỉ: Có ý thức giữ gìn bảo vệ sức khoẻ của bản thân. - Trách nhiệm: hiểu được trách nhiệm của bản thân trong việc tự giữ gìn bảo vệ sức khoẻ cho mình khi đi ngoài trời nắng. II. CHUẨN BỊ CỦA GIÁO VIÊN VÀ HỌC SINH SGK, VBT, các vật dụng: mũ, áo khoác, dù, kem chống nắng, khẩu trang, III. CÁC HOẠT ĐỘNG DẠY HỌC 1. Hoạt động khởi động a. Mục tiêu: - Tạo hứng thú và khơi gợi lại nội dung bài học ở tiết trước. - Tạo tình huống dẫn vào bài. b. Cách tiến hành: - GV cho HS hát bài: “Bé và Ông Mặt trời”. - GV đặt câu hỏi: “Trong bài hát có những ai?” - GV nhận xét, dẫn dắt vào bài mới 2. Hoạt động 1: Bảo vệ cơ thể khỏi tác hại của ánh sáng mặt trời a. Mục tiêu: HS nhận biết các tác hại của ánh sáng mặt trời. b. Cách tiến hành - GV yêu cầu HS xem tranh 1,2 SGK/ 126,127 và thảo luận nhóm đôi theo nội dung câu hỏi: + Trong tranh có những ai ? + Mọi người trong tranh đang làm gì ? + Mọi người làm gì để bảo vệ cơ thể dưới trời nắng ? - GV yêu cầu các em thảo luận theo nhóm đôi. - GV và HS nhận xét và kết luận.
4. + Tranh 1: Mọi người đang ở bãi biển. Trời rất nắng nên mọi người đều đội nón và ngồi trong bóng mát. Mẹ giúp bé thoa kem chống nắng để bảo vệ da. + Tranh 2: Các HS đang đi bộ đến trường. Trời nắng các bạn đều đội nón. Bạn gái giơ tay che để không bị chói mắt ( không nên nhìn thẳng vào Mặt trời vì như thế rất có hại cho mắt). Kết luận: Em cần bảo vệ cơ thể khi ra ngoài trời nắng. 3. Hoạt động 2: : Trò chơi “ Em làm tuyên truyền viên”. a. Mục tiêu: HS nhận biết những vật dụng cần thiết để bảo vệ cơ thể khi ra ngoài trời nắng. b. Cách tiến hành: - GV tổ chức cho HS chơi trò chơi “ Em làm tuyên truyền viên”. - GV phổ biến luật chơi: Lần lượt từng HS sẽ đóng vai một tuyên truyền viên. HS chọn một vật dụng giúp bảo vệ cơ thể khi đi ngoài nắng và tuyên truyền với các bạn về lợi ích, cách sử dụng, cũng như khuyến khích các bạn sử dụng khi ra ngoài trời nắng. Các bạn còn lại sẽ cùng lắng nghe và bình chọn xem bạn nào là tuyên truyền viên giỏi nhất. - GV tuyên dương và giáo dục HS sử dụng các vật dụng cần thiết để bảo vệ cơ thể khi đi ra ngoài trời nắng. Kết luận: Luôn mang theo vật dụng giúp bảo vệ cơ thể khi đi ngoài trời nắng. Chia sẻ với mọi người xung quanh cùng thực hiện để bảo vệ sức khoẻ bản thân. 4. Củng cố – dặn dò - GV yêu cầu HS đọc lại các từ khóa trong bài: Chiếu sáng- Sưởi ấm- Bảo vệ - GV liên hệ thực tế, GDTT . Friday, April 29th 2023 Unit 13: In the school canteen Lesson 1 A. Objective: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: 1. Knowledge: - Pronounce the sound of the letter N/n, say the words Nick, nuts, noodles, bananas - Listen and identify the words Nick, nuts, noodles, bananas. - Trace the letter N/n. 2. Skills. - Listening, reading and speaking. 3. Attitude/ Quality: - Have concentration, listen carefully, express idea during lesson - To help Ss loving animals. C. Teaching aids: CD, Phonics cards D. Procedure: I. Warm-up:
5. - Greet the class and introduce your name. Have pupils greet and introduce themselves. - Access sachmem. Have one pair of pupils play Kim’s game in Fun time 3 on page 47 (Student’s book). II. Procedure: 1. Listen and repeat: - Open books or access sachmem. Have pupils look at the picture, saying Look at the picture, please! and describe the picture. Draw pupils’ attention to the words next to the things/colour and the colour of the letter N/n - Ask pupils to point to the letter N/n. Have them listen and repeat the sound of the letter N/n - Tell pupils to point to the pencil in the picture and the word. - Ask them to listen and repeat the word. Then repeat. Do the same with another words. - Stick the cards on board and have students repeat the words chorally several times 2. Point and say: - Have pupils look at the picture again, saying Look at the picture, please! Ask them to describe the picture. Draw their attention to the letter N/n and Nick, nuts, noodles, bananas in the picture. Draw their attention to the letter N/n and the words they have learnt in Activity 1. - Get them to point to the letter N/n and say it. - Let them point to the picture and say the word nuts. - Follow the same procedure with other things. Go around and correct pronunciation, if necessary.. - Ask pupils to work in pairs or in groups to point to the picture and say the sound of the letter N/n and the words. - Invite some pupils to point to the picture and say the sound of the letter and the words in front of the class. 3. Let’s play: Passing the ball - Tell pupils that they are going to play the game Pass the ball. Explain how to play the game. - Play the music. Give a ball to one pupil and ask her/him to pass it to the second one. The second pupil passes the ball to the third one and so on. - Stop the music. Ask the pupil who is holding the ball to say one of the words. - Continue to play the game until all the words are said . IV. Wrap-up: - Pupils practise pronouncing the sound of the letter N/n and saying the words. - Have sts point and say again 4 words.
