1. WEEK 21 Tuesday, February 7th 2023 Review 1 (P2) A. Objective: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: 1. Knowledge: - Recognize the sounds they have learnt. - Recognize the words they have learnt. - Listen for specific sounds and words.Repeat and understand a short story. - Review sounds /b/ (letter b), /k/ (letter c), /ỉ/ (letter a), and /d/ (letter d) - Vocabulary: ball, book, car, cat bag, desk, dog, door -Structures: This is my _____. (introducing someone’s thing) 2. Skills. - Listening, reading and speaking. 3. Attitude/ Quality: - Have concentration, listen carefully, express idea during lesson - To help Ss loving English. C. Teaching aids: CD, Phonics cards D. Procedure: I. Warm-up: Slap board - Revising the sounds and words - Show flashcards of the letters b, c, a and d. Have pupils say the letter names and the letter sounds. - Stick some flashcards including some pictures of the words from Unit 1 to Unit 4 on the board. Write the words on the board. Have pupils match. - Lead in new lesson. II. New lesson 1. Listen and tick: - Have pupils look at the pictures of question 1 and ask: What is this? - Invite some pupils to point to the pictures and say the words in front of the class - Play the recording twice or more if needed. Ask pupils to listen and tick the correct box. - Follow the same procedure with the pictures of Question 2. - Set a time limit for pupils to swap and check the answers. Key: 1. a 2. b 2. Listen and circle: - Have pupils look at the pairs of letters and practice saying the letter names and letter sounds in pairs. Invite some pupils to say the letters and the sounds in front of the class. - Explain the task. Play the recording, ask pupils to listen and circle the letters of the sounds. Have pupils listen at least twice.
2. - Ask pupils to swap and check the answers. Play the recording again for them to check, if necessary. Invite some pupils to say the sounds they have heard. - Key: 1. b; 2.a; 3. c; 4. d - Say the letters aloud and have pupils write down the letters on their small boards. 3. Listen and tick or cross: - Have pupils look at Picture 1 (saying Look at Picture 1, please!) and say what they can see. - Invite some pupils to point to the pictures and say the words in front of the class. - Draw pupils’ attention to the box under Picture 1. Before playing the recording, say Are you ready?. Play the first sentence and have pupils do the task. - Follow the same procedure with the other three pictures. Play the recording twice or more if needed, ask pupils to listen and put a tick or a cross.. - Set a time limit for pupils to swap and check the answers. Key: 1. x 2. √ 3. √ 4. YÊU CẦU CẦN ĐẠT: * Năng lực đặc thù - Nêu được việc làm để chăm sĩc và bảo vệ vật nuơi. *. Phẩm chất, năng lực chung: 2.1. Phẩm chất: - Nhân ái, chăm chỉ, trách nhiệm . 2.2. Năng lực: Biết cách chăm sĩc và bảo vệ vật nuơi. 3. Vận dụng được kiến thức kĩ năng được hình thành trong bài học vấn đề thực tiễn. II. CHUẨN BỊ: - GV: Tranh ảnh trong bài. - HS: SGK, VBT. III. HOẠT ĐỘNG DẠY HỌC: 1.KHỞI ĐỘNG * Mục tiêu: Tạo hứng thú và khơi gợi những hiểu biết đã cĩ của HS về một số con vật nuơi, dẫn dắt vào bài mới. * Phương pháp: Hỏi đáp. * Hình thức: cá nhân.
3. * Cách tiến hành: - GV yêu cầu HS chia sẻ hình ảnh con vật nuơi mà HS đã sưu tầm (Tiết trước GV đã yêu cầu HS chuẩn bị trước). - GV đặt câu hỏi: “Em thích nuơi con vật nào?” và cho HS chia sẻ về con vật đĩ, về những tình cảm của HS với con vật đĩ. Sau đĩ, GV dẫn dắt vào bài học: “Chăm sĩc và bảo vệ vật nuơi”. 2. KHÁM PHÁ a. Mục tiêu: Tạo hứng thú và khơi gợi những hiểu biết đã cĩ của học sinh về các con vật xung quanh, dẫn dắt vào bài mới. b. Phương pháp: Hỏi đáp c. Hình thức: cá nhân, lớp d. Cách tiến hành: - Hs nghe bài hát: Con muỗi - Trong bài hát nĩi về con vật nào? - Con muỗi gây hại gì cho sức khỏe con người? - Hơm nay cơ và các em sẽ tìm hiểu tiếp bài “Các con vật xung quanh em”. HOẠT ĐỘNG 1: Lợi ích và tác hại của các con vật xung quanh em a. Mục tiêu: Hs biết lợi ích và tác hại của các con vật đối với sức khỏe con người. b. Phương pháp: Quan sát, hỏi đáp, c. Hình thức: cá nhân, nhĩm d. Cách tiến hành: - GV cho HS quan sát tranh SGK (trang 78, 79) thảo luận nhĩm bốn. + Con vật đĩ cĩ lợi ích gì? + Con vật đĩ tác hại gì đối với con người? - Yêu cầu Hs trình bày - GV và Hs nhận xét KL: Xung quanh chúng ta cĩ rất nhiều con vật. Cĩ rất nhiều con vật cĩ ích cho con người như: cung cấp thức ăn, giữ nhà, Nhưng cũng cĩ con vật gây hại cho con người: phá hoại mùa màng, truyền dịch bệnh, HOẠT ĐỘNG 2: Phân nhĩm con vật cĩ ích và con vật gây hại a. Mục tiêu: Hs phân biệt được một số con vật theo lợi ích hoặc gây hại của chúng đối với con người. b. Phương pháp: Quan sát, thực hành c. Hình thức: cá nhân, nhĩm d. Cách tiến hành: - GV yêu cầu HS lấy tranh ảnh các em đã chuẩn bị dán vào bảng phụ các con vật theo 2 nhĩm cĩ ích và gây hại - Sau đĩ các nhĩm lên chia sẻ sản phẩm. + Chúng cĩ ích gì đối với con người? + Chúng gây hại như thế nào cho con người? + Chúng ta cần phải cĩ hành động gì với những con vật gây hại?
4. + Chúng ta cần phải cĩ hành động gì với những con vật cĩ ích? - GV và Hs nhận xét KL: Cĩ những con vật ích và cĩ những con vật gây hại cho con người. - Gv yêu cầu Hs đọc lại các từ khĩa trong bài: “Con vật – Cĩ ích – Gây hại.” 4. VẬN DỤNG * Mục tiêu: Tạo điều kiện để phụ huynh kết nối việc học tập của học sinh ở trường và ở nhà. * Phương pháp: tự học. * Hình thức: cá nhân . * Cách tiến hành GV yêu cầu HS tự chụp (Hoặc nhờ người thân chụp) một số tấm hình về vật nuơi yêu thích của mình; hình chụp HS với vật nuơi yêu thích. HS trao đổi nhĩm đơi. -HS nhờ người thân chụp hình vật nuơi. Friday, February 10th 2023 Unit 5: At the fish and chip shop (Lesson 1) A. Objective: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: 1. Knowledge: - Pronounce the sound of the letter I/i in isolation. - Say the words chicken, chips, fish, milk. - Recognize and pronounce the letter Ii and its sound correctly - Understand, recognize and say the four Ii words 2. Skills. - Listening, reading and speaking. 3. Attitude/ Quality: - Have concentration, listen carefully, express idea during lesson - To help Ss loving animals. C. Teaching aids: CD, Phonics cards D. Procedure: I. Warm-up: Retell - Letters, sounds and words Bb; Cc; Aa; Dd; II. New lesson: 1. Listen, point and repeat: - Introduction of letter Ii, its sound and how to pronounce the words with Ii. - Write on board the letter Ii to introduce to the students the new lesson. - Instruct students how to pronounce the letter and the sound by saying: “This is the letter I /ai/. The letter I says /i/.” - Repeat several times and check students’ pronunciation - Use the phonics cards introduce Tim, milk, chip, fish; read the words out loud and have students repeat.
5. - Use pictures to help students to understand the meanings of the three words. - Stick the cards on board and have students repeat the words chorally several times 2. Point and say: - Have pupils look at the picture again, saying Look at the picture on page 23, please! Ask them to describe the picture. Draw their attention to the letter I/i and the food/drinks in the picture. - Get them to point to the letter I/i and say it. - Let them point to the chicken and say the word chicken. - Follow the same procedure with other things. Go around and correct pronunciation, if necessary.. - Ask pupils to work in pairs or in groups to point to the picture and say the sound of the letter I/i and the words. - Invite some pupils to point to the picture and say the sound of the letter and the words in front of the class. 3. Let’s play: Matching game - Explain how to play the game. - Divide the class into four groups and give each group a set of flashcards to make one word. - Ask pupils in each group to hold the flashcards (each pupil holds one card), the other pupils in the group observe and help them, if necessary. - Set the time and say one word, e.g. FISH. The group that has F, I, S, H should go to the front of the class, show the cards in the correct order to make the word. Follow the same procedure with other words. - Have the class look at the words and announce the winner. IV. Wrap-up: - Have sts point and say again 4 words - Give feedback.
