- WEEK 32 UNIT 15: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE IN THE FUTURE? LESSON 2. 4 + LESSON 3 (4 + 5) Time: Wednesday, April 4th 2022 A. OBJECTIVES - By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: 1. Knowledge - Listen and circle the letters showing the correct words completing sentences. - Read the paragraph, and tick the sentences T (True) or F (False). - Write about what they would like to be and do in the future, using the writing frame. - Sentence Patterns: Revision - Vocabulary: Revision 2. Skills: listening, reading and writing 3. Attitudes/ Quality - To help Ss know how to talk about their future jobs 4. Forming competence - Communication - Self- study - Apply what they have learned to solve learning tasks - Present in front of the class B. LANGUAGE FOCUS - Sentence Patterns: Hi. My name's . C. INSTRUCTIONAL RESOURCES - laptop, loudspeaker - poster D. LEARNING PLAN Activity 1. Warm – up Reading the chant “Where will you be this weekend?” Activity 2. Listen and circle a, b or c - Have pupils read the sentences and groups of words given - Tell sts that they are going to listen and circle a, b or c to complete the sentences - Play CD – sts listen and circle - Get sts’ answer - Give feedback * Key: 1. c 2. a 3. b 4. c - Get sts practice reading the sentences - Call some sts read aloud Activity 3. Read and tick True(T) or False (F) - Tell the class that they are going to read about David’s future job and tick True (T) or False (F) - Give instruction. - Explain what they have to do: read the text to get the information and tick into right boxes. - Have sts do the task in pairs - Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary. - Ask sts to work in pairs to check the answer

Knowledge - Listen and circle the letters showing the correct words completing sentences. - Read the paragraph, and do the tasks. - Read the gapped exchanges, and fill the directions, using the map. - Draw a simple map to show the way to their house from their school. - Sentence Patterns: Revision - Vocabulary: Revision 2. Skills: listening, reading and writing 3. Attitudes/ Quality - To help Ss know how to talk about the places 4. - D. LEARNING PLAN Activity 1. Warm – up Play the game “Turning” - T controls 3 teams do the following actions: Go straight ahead/ stop/ turn right/ turn left - Which team do rightly will win Activity 2. Listen and write one words in the box - Have sts to look at the pictures with means of transport given - Elicit the names of means of transport and students in the table - Give instruction. - Play the recording twice for pupils listen and write the names of means of transport into the boxes - Ask sts to compare the answers with the partner. - Play the recording again for sts to check their answers. - Announce the answers. - Ask some questions to ensure sts’ comprehension of the listening text. * Key: 1. boat 2. taxi 3. coach 4. plane Activity 3.
