  1. WEEK 29 Monday, April 3rd 2023 Unit 17: What would you like to eat? Lesson 3 (4- 6) A. Objectives:: By the end of the lesson Ps will be able to: 1. Knowledge: - Give intonation sentences correctly. - Read the paragraphs, and do the tasks: - Write about their eating habits, using the guiding questions. - Put foods and drinks into two groups: very healthy and not very healthy. - Colour the stars showing their English competences. 2. Skills. - Develop writing and reading skill. 3. Attitude/ Quality: - Studious and obedient students and love their hometown, family and friends. - Educate Ss how to stay healthy - Have good eating habits 4. Forming competence: - Co-operation (ready to help friends in pair work/ groupwork). - Self-study (can perform individual tasks and solve problems by themselves). - Use language to talk about the listening task and read the chant. B. Methods: - Communicative approach, group Ss and T's activities, play as a character, teaching methods with game, teaching methods by visual, teaching methods by practising, discussion group, technical present.... C. Preparation. 1. Teacher’s preparation: CDs player, stereo, book. 2. Student’s preparation: Students’ aids: books, notebooks, workbooks. D. Procedures I. Warm up: 1. Saying the chant “Healthy food and drink” 2. Names: food and drink II. New lesson: 4. Read and do the task: 1. Match the headings with the paragraphs - Tell the class that they are going to read the paragraphs and match them with the headings. - Give instruction. - Explain what they have to do: read the headings three paragraphs to get the information and match. - Have sts do the task in pairs - Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary.
  2. - Ask sts to work in pairs to check the answer - Call on some sts to report their answers. * Key: 1 - b; 2 - c; 3 – a 2. Write about your eating habits: - Have sts answer the questions: + What’s your name? + What would you like to eat/ drink? + What kinds of vegetables/ fruits do you eat every day? + How much . Do you eat/ drink? - Checking understanding how to answer - Have sts write in 5 mins individually about their eating habits - Remind sts how to write in correct way - Go around to help - Invite two or three sts to read their answers aloud - Get sts give feedback - Check and correct * Suggested answers: My name’s Nam. Every day I eat . 6. Project: Put foods and drinks into two groups Very healthy food Not very healthy food - Have sts work in 2 teams to do the projects - Model - Have sts do the project by interview ing and taking notes

UNIT 18: WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE TOMORROW? Lesson 1 (1, 2, 3) A. Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ps will be able to: 1. Knowledge: - Ask and answer questions about the weather. - Sentence Patterns: What will the weather be like tomorrow? – It will be ____ and __ - Vocabulary: cold, snowy / hot, sunny / warm, stormy / cool, cloudy 2. Skills. - Listening and speaking. 3. Attitude/ Quality: - Be confident in communicating with friends/ teachers. - Know how to keep body healthy - Love themselves, love nature. 4. Forming competence: - Co-operation (ready to help friends in pair work/ groupwork). - Self-study (can perform individual tasks and solve problems by themselves). - Using language to talk about the weather B. Methods: - Communicative approach, group Ss and T's activities, play as a character, teaching methods with game, teaching methods by visual, teaching methods by practising, discussion group, technical present.... Warm up: Play game - The class play game: Slap the board, using the words: rainy, sunny, cloudy, windy, weather, sun, cloud.... II. New lesson: 1. Look, listen and repeat: - Introduce the dialogue.
  4. - Look at the pictures to identify the characters(Linda and the broadcaster) and the context in the book guess what the story is about and point at each picture to elicit their answers to these questions. - Play the recording - Listen follow in their book. - Ss listen and repeat in chorus two times. - Read in group/ pair: One repeats the question’s part, the other repeats the answer’s part. - Ss give new sentence: What will the weather be like tomorrow? - It will be ... and ... - Note write down new words and read after T. - Play game: What and where (Whole class) - Check and corect. - Elicits the new sentence 2. Point and say - Teach vocabulary: - Say phrases under the pictures. - Look and find out the model sentences. - Model sentence - Point the pictures, practise asking and answering question: What will the weather be like tomorrow? - It will be ... and ... - Monitor the activity and offer help, if necessary. - 2 - 3 pairs perform their task at the front of the class. The rest of the class observe and give comments. - Check and correct 3.   5. Wednesday, April 5th 2023 UNIT 18: WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE TOMORROW? Lesson 1 (4, 5, 6) A. Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ps will be able to: 1. Knowledge: - Ask and answer questions about the weather. - Listen and circle the letters showing the correct words filling the gapped sentences. - Read and fill the gapped conversation with the words provided. - Play the game making sentences. - Sentence Patterns: Revision - Vocabulary: Revision 2. Skills. - Listening and speaking. 3. Attitude/ Quality: - Be confident in communicating with friends/ teachers. - Know how to keep body healthy - Love themselves, love nature. 4. Forming competence: - Co-operation (ready to help friends in pair work/ groupwork). - Self-study (can perform individual tasks and solve problems by themselves). - Using language to talk about the weather B. Methods: - Communicative approach, group Ss and T's activities, play as a character, teaching methods with game, teaching methods by visual, teaching methods by practising, discussion group, technical present.... There is / are ___. - Vocabulary: spring, cold, wind / summer, hot, flowers / autumn, cool, rain / winter, very cold, snow. 2. Skills. - Listening, writing and reading. 3. Attitude/ Quality: - Be confident in communicating with friends/ teachers. - Love themselves, love nature. - Know how to protect yourself 4. Forming competence: - Co-operation (ready to help friends in pair work/ groupwork). - Self-study (can perform individual tasks and solve problems by themselves). - Using language to talk about the seasons.
