- WEEK 34 Time: Monday, May 6th 2024 UNIT 20: AT THE ZOO Lesson 1- Activity 1, 2, 3 I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - Correctly pronounce the sounds of the letter a in isolation, in the words parrot and dancing and in the sentences I can see a parrot. and The peacock is dancing. - Use the words tiger, monkey, elephant, horse, peacock, parrot in relation to the topic “At the zoo”. 1. Knowledge/ Language focus: - Vocabulary: zoo, tiger, horse, peacock, monkey - Sentence patterns: What can you see? –> I can see 2. Skills: - Listening and speaking. 3. Quality /Attitude: Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss to ask and answer questions about what animals someone can see at the zoo. Kindness: help partners to complete learning tasks Diligence: complete learning tasks Honesty: tell the truth about feelings and emotions Responsibility: appreciate kindness 4. Competences: SS can develop some competences: Decision making, teamwork, work standards, reliability, motivation. Listening: look, listen and repeat Critical Thinking: about what animals someone can see at the zoo. Oral Communication: ask and answer questions about what animals someone can see at the zoo, let’s talk, Self-control & independent learning: perform listening tasks Communication and collaboration: work in pairs or groups Sociability: talk about what animals someone can see at the zoo, say good words to others.
