- WEEK 31 GRADE 2 Time: Tuesday, April 16th 2024 UNIT 15: IN THE CLOTHES SHOP Lesson 1 I/ Objectives: 1. Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to : - correctly pronounce the name of letter sh and the sound / ∫/ in isolation. - Say correctly the words : shirts, shoes, shorts 2. Competencies: 2.1. Generic competencies: - Communication and cooperation competence: read and complete the sentences, work in pairs/groups. - Problem-solving competence: observing, collecting and analyzing information - Autonomy and self-learning: remembering, recalling and guessing words/ phrases - Problem –solving and creativity: giving ideas, changing information, giving comments, critical thinking. 2.2. Language competence: - Sound / ∫/ - Vocabulary: shirts, shoes, shorts - Skills: Integrated skills (speaking and listening) 3. Attitude / Qualities: Educate Ss to become studious and obedient students, love learning English II/ Teaching aids: 1. Teacher: Pictures, words cards, worksheets, flashcards, objects, recording, computer, projector. 2. Students: Tieng Anh 2 students’ books, pens, pencils, crayons, notebooks. III/ Procedure: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities 1. Encourage ss in the relevent team to repeat. - Tell ss to look carefully at the Fc and remember their team’s word. Explain that when you say” Close your eyes!” ss should close their eyes. You will then remove on of the FCs from the board. When you say” Open you eyes!”, ss should open their eyes. Encourage each team to call out the missing word from their set .A correct answer scores one point. - Have time for ss to play game. -Ss play game.
- -Count the points for eaxch team and announce the winner.The team with the most points wins * Outcome: Ss can remembet and say target words. 3. Consolidation :2’ * Aims : to consolidate and wrap up the content of the lesson. -Ss listen. - T tells ss about the main content of the lesson. - T tells ss about the educational Aimss of the lessons. 4. Homelink. 1’ - Practice more at home. - Prepare for the next lesson.
