- WEEK 25 TIẾNG ANH KHỐI 1 Time: Monday, Thursday and Friday (from 4th of March) UNIT 12: AT THE LAKE Lesson 1 I. OBJECTIVES: - By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: + Remember and say some new words: Lucy, lake, leaf, lemons. + Pronounce the sound of the letter: L/l 1. Knowledge/ Language focus: - Vocabulary: Lucy, lake, leaf, lemons. - Sound: /l/ 2. Skills: - Listening and speaking. 3. Quality /Attitude: -Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss to become studious and obedient students; love something at the lake. 4. Competences: SS can develop some competences: -Comunicative and collaborative competence: work in pairs/groups, role play: work in pairs/groups, role play: work in pairs/groups, role play -Problem-solving competence: observing, collecting and analyzing information -Self studying and self - control competence: remembering, recalling and guessing words/phrases -Creative competence, linguistic competence: giving ideas, changing information, giving comments, critical thinking. II. TEACHING AIDS / MATERIALS: - Pictures, Textbook, computer, projector, pictures, recording III. METHODS: - Communicative language teaching, contextual teaching and learning, total physical response, games activities teaching, Model-Action-Talk, teaching methods by visual, direction method, audiolingual method. IV. PROCEDURE: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Activity 1:Warm up:5’ *Aim:help ss to be eager and happy to begin the new lesson. *Procedure: -Spend a few minutes revising the previous - SS sing the song. lesson by asking the class to sing the song in

Where are they? What are they doing? and Can you see the lake? Can you see the leaf? Can you see the lemons? Draw pupil’s attention to the letter L/l, the words next to the character and things, and the colour of the letter L/l Check comprehension. -Point, listen and repeat. - Have Ss point to the letter L/l, listen to the recording and repeat the sound of the letter L/l. Say Point to the letter L/l, listen and repeat, please! Play the recording several times for Ss to listen and repeat the sound of the letter. -Ss repeat. - Have them point to the lake and/or the word lake, listen to the recording and repeat the word lake,Then play the recording again, if -Ss listen and repeat. necessary, for Ss to listen and repeat individually and in chorus.
