  1. WEEK 16 Tuesday, December 20th 2022 Unit 2: In the dining room Lesson 2 A. Objective: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: 1. Knowledge: - Practice words with C sound in situation; - Practice using words with C sound in simple sentences by chanting - Practice listening C sound in the 4 words and words with sound 2. Skills. - Listening, reading and speaking. 3. Attitude/ Quality: - Have concentration, listen carefully, express idea during lesson - To help Ss loving English. C. Teaching aids: CD, Phonics cards D. Procedure: I. Warm-up: - Greet students - Recall the 4 words with the C sound: cake, car, cat, cup II. Procedure: 1. Point and say: - Show the pictures - Elicit names of things in the pictures: cup, cake, car and cat - Get sts point and say things one by one - Call some sts point and say - Give feedback - Have sts play the game: Back to back (Say and get pictures in pairs) 2. Chant: - Show the chant on the board - Read through the sentences - Have listen and repeat the sentences - Play the tape a few times. - Ask them to listen again and repeat. - Have sts practice chanting in groups of 4 - Call some groups chant aloud - Give feedback 4. Listen and tick: - Elicit students the names of things in pairs in the pictures given - Give feedback - Have sts run through the names of things again - Present what they have to do in this part - Play the CD. Have the students listen and tick (twice)
  2. - Get sts’answers - Play the CD again. The students listen and check their answer - Give feedback * Key: 1. a; 2. b III. Projects (Workbook): Find and colour cake, car, cat and cup - Show the picture on the screen - Ask sts to find what is cake/car/ cup/ cat - Have sts listen to the things that teacher says and colour them one by one - Listen and colour the pictures - Go around to check the sts’ work - Give feedback IV. Wrap-up: - Review the words of letter B and C. - Recite the chant Thursday, December 22nd2022 Unit 2: In the dining room Lesson 3 A. Objective: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: 1. Knowledge: - Practice speaking the sentence about what they have. - Practice writing the letter Cc and complete the words. - Pronoun again the C sound and use the right words and sentence. 2. Skills. - Listening, reading and speaking. 3. Attitude/ Quality: - Have concentration, listen carefully, express idea during lesson - To help Ss loving English. C. Teaching aids: CD, Phonics cards D. Procedure: I. Warm-up: Let’s chant - Greet students - Recite the Cc chant II. Procedure: 1. Let’s talk: - Have sts look at 4 pictures, elicit the names - Point to cat, model: I have a cat. - Point to the cake, model: I have a cake. - Do the same with car and cup - Have sts work in pairs, base on the model to practice talking - Call some sts talk aloud
